Better Voice Now Singing Studio was born 8 years ago, in Dublin, to help singers of all levels to become a better performer and more confident in their singing, without using complicated techniques, but actually having fun!
Our Vocal Coach & Singing Teacher Plinny Phoenix ,is a bubbly and enthusiastic Singing Coach, longtime Jazz Singer with the Jaffa Cakes Band, and Confidence Coach.
As founder of her own studio 'Better Voice Now', she’s on a mission to guide singers of all levels through misleading myths about singing, always telling her students: “It is not about Talent:
If you can Talk, You can Sing”!
Plinny helps them find their way to confidence and their own signature sound using her holistic 'Triangle Singing Method', working on Voice, Body, and Singer’s Mindset.
Plinny studied Singing with former 'The Commitments' back-singer Nicki Shira Byrnes; Acting & Communication at Gaiety School of Acting (Dublin); Psycology of Performance at Julliard (NY); Confidence Life Coaching at Transformation Academy.
She has performed in Italy, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Australia, and New Zealand. She has her own band: a pop-jazz trio called "The Jaffa Cakes".
When not on a stage, she loves to read books, swim and hike in her beautiful Sardinia, snowboard in the Alpes, and play & write her own music.
